Storage
To preserve the quality of your candle sand, store them in an airtight container to protect against moisture and environmental exposure.
A sealed plastic container works well.
Keep the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Periodically inspect the sand for signs of mold, discoloration, or other damage.
Discard any compromised sand to ensure safety and product integrity.
Candle sand can be stored for very long periods; however, storage conditions may affect their longevity.
Always check their condition before use.
Safety Guidelines
Candle Sand offers enhanced safety over traditional candles.
It self-extinguishes if tipped over, reducing fire risk.
Additionally, the wick is designed to extinguish before reaching the bottom, preventing overheating of the container, however
Important Safety Guidelines needs to be followed as it uses a real flame.
The same precautions are recommended as with traditional candles.
Safety First:
Always burn your candle on a flat, fireproof surface, and never leave it unattended.
Step-by-Step Instructions
An easy and fun alternative to traditional candles and perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike!
Whether you’re creating a cozy ambiance or a unique gift,
here’s everything you need to know how to use candle sand the correct way.
You'll need:
Candle Sand | Heat-resistant container | Candle wick
Optional:
Decorative accents (shells, crystals, dried flowers) | Essential oils (if you're using unscented sand)
Choose Your Container
Select a heat-resistant container that’s stable and wide enough to accommodate your desired design.
Clear glass is ideal if you want to show off your layers!
Pour the Candle Sand
Slowly pour the sand into container.
Tap the container gently on a surface to help sand settle & remove air pockets.
Insert the Wick
Place the wick in the center of the container.
Make sure the wick stands straight and extends slightly above the surface of the sand (about 1/2 inch).
Decorate (Optional)
Add small, non-flammable decorative items at the bottom of the container or to the edges of the container
(avoid placing anything too close to the wick).
Popular additions include:
Mini seashells, Dried flowers Colored stones, Glass beads.
Light & Enjoy
Light the wick like a regular candle. The heat will melt the top layer of sand wax and release any fragrance if your sand is scented. Once the flame goes out, simply remove the used wick stub, level the sand, and insert a new wick. Your candle is ready to reuse!
Bonus Tips
Reuse & Refresh:
Candle sand is reusable! After each burn, remove burnt wick. Add new sand for a fresh look.
Scent Customization:
Light the wick and let it burn for a few minutes until a melt pool forms. Snuff the wick and add a few drops of your favorite scent into the melt pool. Relight the wick. This will ensure the scent stays in the melt pool without affecting the rest of the sand. Enjoy the creativity, and don’t be afraid to experiment with colors and themes!
It is the user’s responsibility for all modifications made to the candles such as colors and scents.
